Bob was a wonderful volunteer at Poudre Valley Hospital. He had a passion for helping our patients and visitors feel cared for and was always there when we needed his help. We truly appreciate Bob and Liz for volunteering their time and service to help those in need. With love and fond memories, Nan Walters

Mr. Webb was the most inspirational teacher I ever had!I moved to Fort Collins in the summer of 1973, just before my ninth grade year, and he really introduced me to all that outdoor Colorado has to offer. I went with him on field trips to Crown Point, snowshoeing at Bear Lake RMNP and in the spring after a trip to the Denver Zoo I went with him,one of his daughters, and another student in his old Landcruiser to check out an eagles nest up near Carr.I've often thought about Mr. Webb whenever I'm out fishing or sitting by a campfire or just out for a hike and feeling grateful for all that he taught me about enjoying nature.

Mr. Webb taught me "honors" biology in 1975-76 at Blevins Jr High School in a small class of very motivated students. I learned SO much from him and loved that class! I still remember use the information he taught me to this day, so many years later. One day he found a dead skunk on his way to school one day, picked it up and drove it to school on the spare tire of his Jeep so that he could dissect it later with students and display its skeleton in his classroom (Mr. Linton, then principal was not enthused to have a stinky skunk right outside the school). I remember eating meal worms that he fried and learning how they were a great source of protein. In his class, I learned my blood type for the first time - he thought the serum to detect "B" type blood was not working until mine showed up in the last period of the day. I learned so much about botany that I carry with me to this day. My only regret is that I did not reach out to him before he passed. I feel incredibly enriched by his deep passion for science. One person can make a huge difference a student's life and Mr. Webb was that person for me. Now as a chemistry professor, I try to infuse similar love of science to my students! His legacy lives on.

Mr. Webb was my biology teacher at Blevins. His youngest sister was my best friend so I spent time at her house and around Mr. Webbs family. Memories - How many middle schools had or have a caiman? Mr. Webb used to walk it down the school hallways as if it were just an ordinary activity, which it did become. There were mice, snakes, a bird as well as a myriad of other animals In our classroom, that as others have said, were entrusted to be taken home to be cared for over the holidays or long weekends by students. For the students who may have been goofing off and not paying attention or sleeping in class....often a short rubber sink nozzle hose would go sailing their way at chairs or tables, etc. to bring them back on task.Mr. Webb used to offer students In biology class live or fried mealy worms on crackers, touting the high protein content. That was something I was not able to partake of. One thing I truly always appreciated was Mr. Webbs enthusiasm. He loved educating students and he had a contagious passion for biology. Teachers touch student many lives during their tenure and he certainly touched many, those of us who fortunate to have had him for biology class. My sincere condolences to Liz, his family, extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed, however, there will always be memories to keep him near in thought and heart until we see him again one day.

Wow, you just invoked a memory I have of taking home a ferret from his classroom. The ferret escaped from our garage. Mr. Webb just grimaced, then sighed, when I told him. I learned a good lesson about ferrets and their escape abilities.

Sue and I have known Bob and Liz since 1978. Bob and I have had several adventures together and I will share just 2. We rode our bicycles with our camping gear the length of Colorado. We backpacked the Grand Canyon from the north rim to the south rim. Bob was my adventure buddy and we both enjoyed the outdoors. I miss my adventure buddy very much. Dennis Miller.

I feel fortunate to have had Mr Webb for Bell weather science at Blevins. Lots of great memories and lessons including exploring the cave and making home made craw dad traps that I have replicated on numerous occasions with my kids. Great teacher with enormous impact. Thank You!

Tommy & I will not be there in person at the service for Bob, but will be there with our love for all the family. My big brother was always there for me if I needed a hug or just to answer biology types of questions which I still asked over the past many years. I am so lucky to be a part of such a loving family. Love Tommy & Bevy

I have wonderful memories of Bellwether Science with Mr. Webb. My favorites being spelunking in Owl Canyon, scuba diving in the community pool and feeding the boa constrictor named Julius Squeezer just to name a few. I feel very fortunate to of had him as a teacher like many others have expressed in these comments. My condolences to his friends and family. Memories of him are truly a treasure.

Mr. Webb was my science teacher at Blevins. He is one of the teachers that continued to fuel my interest in wildlife. I would often take some of the animals home at Christmas break to take care of them. Prairie dogs and kangaroo rats. How many other teachers do you know that had a rattlesnake and caiman in their classroom? I ended up buying a Toyota Landcruiser in high school because I always like Mr. Webbs landcruiser. I have been fortunate to have a 37 year career working with grizzly bears in Montana. Mr. Webb was partly responsible for keeping my interest in wildlife. He will be missed

I met Mr Webb when I attended the old Lincoln Junior High. Then In 1973 we bought a house right across the street from the Webb family. It was a pleasure to know him as a teacher and as a family man. I remember Going with his family to a wild game dinner at his sister Sandys house. Try it. Youll like it. Tastes just like chicken. I have no idea what the meat was!!!

I have thought of "Bio Bob" so many times over the years. He is the reason I pursued the sciences. I remember he asked me to talk to his class at Blevins after I got my degree in Biology! He will be missed. May the family find peace and calm during this turbulent time.
