Obituary of Patricia Ann Lillestolen

Patricia “Patty” Ann Lillestolen, age 59, left us too soon on Sunday, May 21, 2023.  She was born on January 30, 1964, in Eastend, Saskatchewan to Orville and Shirley Wig.  Patty and Erik Lillestolen were married on June 6, 1987, and enjoyed each other’s lives for over 35 years.

Patty would light the room with her easy laugh and twinkling eyes.  She desired to help others from the bounty of her blessings.  Her quiet resolve to live a full life and not be defined by her illnesses inspired those around her to be better.  Patty lived her faith with grace and beauty.  Her children and grandchildren were her earthly treasures.

Patty was trained as a medical laboratory technician.  Her passion for helping others continued through her life as she gave love and care to people in need, regardless of their age or station in life.  Her legacy of helping others through healthcare has continued through both her children.

Patty is preceded in death by her father and mother, Orville and Shirley Wig.  She is survived by her husband Erik; her two children Bryce and Amber Lillestolen, and Kara and Chris Hobson; her grandchildren Aidan, Amelie, Claire, Kian and Theo; her brother Brent and Doris Wig, brother Randy and Linda Wig, and sister Cathy and Larry Kochendorfer; and many amazing nieces, nephews, cousins, family and closely held friends.
