I agree with all that my brother, Drew, said. The entire Runyan family was so fun to spend time with. Prayers of comfort for Dorothy, Brad, Reece and all who knew Ted.

Have many great memories of family get togethers with the Runyans, Pritchards, Welliks, Millers and Mom and Dad Horstman. Ted was so easy to be around. He was an awesome leader and great supporter of the Britt school systems! Prayer to his family. Rest in peace Ted, you have made a difference for many!! Kathy Eisenman

I fondly remember celebrating Christmas each year on Christmas Eve with the Runyan, Barnett and Townsend families. Although he was very prominent in the Britt community, Ted was very friendly and approachable to everyone. My sympathies to Dorothy, Brad, Reece and their families.

Sorry to hear of Ted's passing. Lots of memories of his Britt career and the fishing trips out on Lake Ida at Alexandria. His brother, Don, actually worked with me at La Porte City Elementary where I was elementary principal for 9 years. Don loved to fish and insisted that our vacations would be at Lake Ida where he and Huck and Ted and Dave ventured out frequently for night fishing. As a bit of humor, we all roared when Ted pulled in one of the biggest bullheads in the lake. Our sympathy to Dorothy and the boys and all family members.

I worked at Miramont Health Club in membership and Ted was so nice and friendly. He always had a smile on his face and an infectious laugh! After working out and having coffee in the cafe we would talk about topics in the Coloradoan. He always had an opinion and so did I! And I know he will be missed by his family and friends.
