Obituary of Mary Ann Frazer

Obituary MARY ANN (KLOVANICH) FRAZER Mary Ann (Klovanich) Frazer of Fort Collins, Colorado died peacefully at the age of ninety-nine at Pathways of Northern Colorado in the company of her three daughters, Yvonne Sheree (Frazer) Weidmann, Andrea Lee (Frazer) Harding, Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Johnelle Suzette (Frazer) Winne, Fort Collins, Colorado. Mary Ann was born in Shadyside, Ohio on July 25, 1923 of Russian heritage within a coal mining community. She is predeceased by her mother Francis (aka Bubba), father Frank (aka Jedo), three brothers Frank Jr. (aka Snoz), George (aka Smiles), John (aka Dutchy), three sisters Stella Tritto, Annie Baum, and Helen Vicen, and her husband Lieutenant Colonel John (“Jack”) Frazer, Pilot, United States Air Force. Mary Ann was a proud grandmother to granddaughters, Sloane Weidmann, Logan and Audra Winne, and grandson Kurt Weidman. Mary Ann was also very fond of her many nephews and nieces living throughout the country. Mary Ann, known as M.A. or Oma to many, lived and traveled all over the country and the world with her husband Jack and daughters Yvonne, Andrea and Johnelle, including living in Germany for 30 years and spending time visiting most of the countries in Europe. Mary Ann learned to ski in Switzerland and continued to enjoy downhill skiing well into her late 80s. She was a crafty seamstress and self-taught clothing designer, and an accomplished gardener with a flair for red geraniums. Whether skiing or out and about Mary Ann was always dressed to the nines with a most special smile and sparkle in her eyes. She was very spirited and energetic with only one speed, full steam ahead, high heels and all! Mary Ann was clearly a wonderful force of nature who lived life to the fullest and without compromise in support of her family and friends. Mary Ann requested that there not be any formal memorial service, and in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Pathways of Northern Colorado, 305 Carpenter Road, Ft. Collins, Colorado 80525. Mary Ann’s family would like to recognize Pathways Northern Colorado for their genuine warmth and excellent care for Mary Ann, her family and friends. Services
