Obituary of Teresa Ann Schwab

Obituary Teresa Ann Schwab, 63, of Fort Collins, CO died peacefully at Centre Avenue Health & Rehab Facility on Monday, January 24, 2022. Terri was born February 1, 1958, in Jamestown, ND to James and Alice (Watson) Schwab. She grew up in Appleton, MN, graduated high school in 1977 and obtained a CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate in 1978. Terri worked at a daycare center in White Bear Lake, MN before moving to Fort Collins, CO in 1981, where she worked in childcare for many years. From 2001 - 2008 Terri was employed by Poudre River Public Library District as a Library Aide. After retiring from the library, she continued to volunteer there as her health permitted. Terri enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She took special joy in her grandchildren. Terri enjoyed reading and loved animals. She took pleasure in feeding and watching her backyard squirrels. Terri is survived by her two children: Heidi (Dave) Scott of Casper, WY and Chad Schwab of Gilbert, AZ; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Alexander, Daniel, Grace, Nicholas, Lillie and William Scott; two sisters: Debra (Ron) Askeland of San Diego, CA and Sandra West of Shasta Lake, CA; two brothers: Jeffrey Schwab of Ortonville, MN and Michael Schwab of Marietta, GA; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Terri is preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter, Brittany Schwab. Terri’s fun sense of humor, kindness and concern for others will be missed. A Celebration Of Life is being planned for early spring in Fort Collins.
