Obituary of Ellen Marie Rotundo

Obituary Ellen Rotundo, 71, of Fort Collins, Co. Ellen was born on March 3, 1951 in Rochester, NY. To Patrick and Marjorie Shanley. She went to her heavenly home on March 10, 2022. She was a homemaker, caring for her 6 children. Gary (Char), Adam, Amy, Kerry (Peter), Matthew, and Casie (Art). After her children were grown, she enjoyed a career in the retail business. She married the love of her life, Joseph Rotundo, on April 15,1990. They spent the next 32 years filling their home with Love, Laughter, and their rich memories. Ellen and Joe moved to Colorado in 2008. She loved the mountains, and enjoyed taking car trips through them. She was an animal lover as well. She rescued many dogs and cats. She loved feeding the squirrels, especially one that she named “Duncan”. She also loved the beach, and longed to be home on the shores of Lake Ontario. She had an amazing sense of humor and was loved by all who met her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Marjorie. She is survived by her husband, Joseph and their 6 beautiful children. She is also survived by her 4 sisters, Gale, Marge, Carol, and Doreen, and 1 brother Patrick. She will also be missed by her wonderful grandkids and wonderful great-grandkids, that she loved with all of her heart. A Celebration of her Life, will be planned for a later date.
