Obituary Robert Joseph Peters 57 of Fort Collins, Co passed away on April 6, 2022. He was born on November 10, 1964 to Leroy Joseph Peters and Nellie Suniga Olivas and raised by Tomas Olivas along with Nellie in Fort Collins, Co. He attended Poudre High School. Robert was a master baker and worked in the coal mines in Craig Co. He was a Christian man with strong faith and had a love for Christian music. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Denver Broncos. His humor was endless and he loved to make those around him laugh until they cried. He always had a bright smile and greeted you with the best hugs. He loved his many nieces and nephews and had a special bond with each one of them. Survived by Mindy Mullison Peters who he married July 28, 2018. Survived by son Michael Peters, mother Judy Peters. As well as 4 stepsons, Eric Duran, Zachary, Tyler (Sierra), Derek (Kristine) Romero. 8 grandkids and one expected in May. Older sister Dorothy Pacheco (Joe) Robert’s Papa Joe Pacheco as he called him. Sister Renee Trujillo (Anthony), sister Michelle Chavez (John), sister Terese Peters Bunker (Danny). Preceded in death by Nellie Suniga Olivas (Mother) and Tomas Olivas (Step father). Leroy Joseph Peters (Father). Close friends Tony Romero, Jesse Jo Godinez and Ricky Trujillo. Special thanks to Billy Griner, Justine and Dave. Service Thursday April 14, 2022 at Calvary Chapel 4036 S. Shields St. Fort Collins, Co at 1pm.
