Obituary of Patricia L Gonzales

Obituary Patricia Lynne Dempsey (Patti) was born in Bend Oregon on November 27, 1940, to Jack and Ruthie Dempsey. In 1960 she met the love of her life Jose E Gonzales, (Ernie) in San Francisco California, and had their first date on New Year’s Eve. They were married on March 17, 1962, in Valdez Colorado. Patti and Ernie had two children Tracy and Jason, two grandchildren, Chase, and Haleigh, and one great granddaughter Phoebe. They lived many years in the Denver area. After years of weekend camping and boating at Horsetooth Reservoir, they built their home, (with the help of family and friends) to live where they loved. Patti worked as an Account Manager at the Fort Collins Club. Patti loved family and family holiday dinners. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, knitting and counted cross stitch. She was a perfectionist when it came to crafting and it showed in her work. Patti was an enthusiastic reader and enjoyed authors James Patterson, Michael Connelly, and Patricia Cornwell to name a few. She also enjoyed both daytime and evening game shows. Her favorite show was Law & Order SVU. She was also a fan of The Rachael Maddow Show. Patti was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law Mary N Gonzales and father in-law, JD Gonzales and beloved “sister’ Rose Chavez. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you do something kind for someone, even a perfect stranger.
