Obituary of Shaun Lailan Fowler

Obituary Shaun Lailan Fowler, age 75, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family members, on April 28, 2022. He was born August 16, 1946 in Junction City, Kansas to Helen (Strom) Fowler and Ralph Oliver Fowler. He spent much of his childhood in the Denver area, graduating from Wheat Ridge High School. He also attended classes at Colorado State University. Shaun had many jobs over his lifetime, including ones at A&W Drive-ins, Poudre Valley Creamery, Hewlett-Packard, and Markley Motors. He was an owner of Choice Books & Gifts and his own Farmer's Insurance agency before becoming a realtor. After working for Keller-Williams, Shaun was certified as a broker and began his own real estate company, Streetwise Realty, which he operated until a couple years before his death. Shaun was married to Eileen Clark, with whom he had two lovely and beloved daughters, Christine and Cynthia. Shaun was committed to his Christian faith. He was always ready to offer his help to anyone, whether friend or stranger, but he was not afraid of confronting wrongdoing or a wrongdoer when he thought it necessary. He had a good sense of humor and a ready laugh most of his life. He loved his family and enjoyed his friends. Shaun is survived by his mother, Helen Fowler, his sister Cynthia Dawson (and her husband Nick), Shaun's two daughters, Christine Vasquez and Cynthia (and her husband Brady); six grandchildren: Marissa Hansen (and her husband Andy), Brianna Vasquez, Daniel Vasquez, Kooper Wilson, Jasper Wilson, and Serenity; and three great grandchildren: Isabel, Selah, and Jude Hansen, plus numerous other family members and friends. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the excellent, compassionate care provided to Shaun from his Bristol Hospice care team. They were all wonderful. The family will also be eternally grateful to Shaun's friends, Jim Rosson and Larry Pitts, for their enduring friendship and their frequent, regular and pleasurable visits during his illness. The Irish Blessing May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
