Obituary of Jennifer Eve Diehl

Obituary Jennifer Eve Diehl, formally Carlson was born in Wilmur, Minnesota June 18, 1970 where she and her family lived until 1971 when they moved to Estes Park, Colorado. They then moved to Fort Collins in 1979, where she would spend the rest of her childhood. Growing up she enjoyed camping when it was nice out. She also enjoyed board games and bowling when it was not. Jennifer had a pronounced loved for animals, and anyone that knew her can attest to it. Jennifer went to IBMC to become a Medical Assistant, and she continued working as a nurse until her last days. She worked and enjoyed time at Custom Tabs, which was owned by her parents. Jennifer also moved to Ault in 1994-1996 while lending a hand to help her parents remodel a house. Jen spent a lot of time with her nephews, family, and friends. One of her favorite activities was sitting outside and chatting with those around her. At this point in her life, she also had Boz, her beloved boxer. She met Leroy Diehl while bowling at Monte Carlo in 1996. They married and moved to Carr, in 1999. They had two daughters, Bailey and Brady. Jen enjoyed taking the two girls to go swimming and to spend time with family. Jen would take them to Custom Tabs where both girls would (not successfully) be receptionists. Jen was found in her home May 12, 2022 and had passed of natural causes. She had helped plan and organize the food for Bailey’s wedding in her last few months. Jen had a heart that was bigger than words could ever explain, and she touched many lives. From her time as a nurse, people would recognize her and often explain to her children the amazing nurse and person that she was. We hope that she and Clarence Carlson are catching fish up in the clouds and smiling down on us as we all gather to celebrate her life. Jen is preceded in death by- Clarence Carlson (father) Jen is survived by- Caren Carlson (mother), Leroy Diehl (husband), Bailey Koch (Jordan), Brady Diehl, Jodi Schumaker (sister), Jamey Carlson (brother) and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and greatnieces that will all feel the loss of a world without Jen.
