Bonnie Josephine Hill who lived in Ft Collins, Colorado, passed away the evening of June 7, 2022 in Poudre Valley Hospital. She had broken her hip several weeks earlier.Bonnie was the daughter of Ruby (Sharp) and Clarence Hill of Cawker City, Kansas. She attended school in Cawker City, Kansas graduating in 1963, and went on to Kansas University for her Bachelor of Arts degree in French and English graduating in 1968. She attained several high scholastic honors at KU. She then attended Indiana University and attained her Master of Science in Education in 1976.In her youth Bonnie was an exceptional talent who played band instruments with ease, mastering brass instruments with finesse like the trombone and the baritone horns. She additionally was an exquisite pianist, and organist, which as a young lady she played for her church and her school. Her band teacher once told her that she had perfect pitch with her ear! Over time she was less involved with music and moved around the country quite often with a multitude of jobs, ending up in Ft Collins. Her parents and a brother, Robert, preceded her in death. For those who knew her she was a sweet, caring person who also adored her cats. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
