Obituary of Barbara E Linquist

Obituary Barbara Ellen Lindquist 83, of Fort Collins Colorado, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on Saturday evening, July 2, with her husband by her side. “Bobbi" was born on Feb 16,1939 in Elkins, West Virginia to Del and Pauline Gainer. She graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1957 and attended Stetson University in Deland FL. She married Dale Lindquist on Oct. 12, 1972, in Fort Collins Colorado, where they lived in harmony for nearly 50 years. Bobbi loved being a wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to travel, seeing Australia, the South Pacific Rim and Europe. She was a talented seamstress and was exceptional at many forms of crafts, and needlework. As a master knitter, she was often a source for friends to 'fish them out of a mess'. She was very active in her neighborhood and connected families who have grown to become a close community. Bobbi often combined these two passions and taught knitting to the neighborhood kids of all ages. She was truly loved by friends and family. Bobbi is survived by her husband Dale, three sons; Alan Jarman with wife Jeanette of Johnstown CO, Mark Jarman with wife Sarah of Winter Park CO, and Loren Lindquist with wife Barbara of Driggs ID, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery with only immediate family present. An open house celebration of her life will be held in the backyard of her home at 1841 Grenoble Ct., Fort Collins CO, Saturday, July 16th from 1pm to 3pm.
