Obituary of Glenn Garcia

Obituary Lawrence “Glenn” Garcia was born in Fort Collins on May 28, 1950. A Colorado native, Glenn resided in northern Colorado his entire life. A stone mason by trade and an amazing artist in his spare time, his stonework can be seen throughout Colorado. During his retirement years, Glenn loved creating beautiful and unique artistic creations using a variety of materials, such as antlers, slate, wood, you name it. Although he was known for his humility, Glenn was very proud of his remarkable works of art. One of his greatest joys was being a doting father to his two beautiful birds: Lucy, a blue-and-gold Macaw and Maggie, a yellow-naped Amazon parrot. Glenn passed away peacefully at home on August 1. We pray he was greeted by his parents, Gilbert and Linda Garcia, sisters, Cynthia Garcia and Veronica Long, along with all his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and his 1 day old baby boy. We will miss our brother's feisty demeanor and independent spirit. May he rest in peace. Glenn is survived by sisters Sharon Hamernick and Katherine Bruce (Ed) and brother Kenny Garcia (Kelli), along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
