Obituary of Colleen Ann Stengaard

Obituary Colleen Stengaard passed away on 11-05-2022, after a long battle with Cancer. Colleen was born in Greeley, Colorado to Harold and Helen (Jean) Heimbigner in 1949. She graduated from high school in 1967 with a business degree, were she was active in band, Pep Club, a member of the Honer Society. She revived a scholarship grant to C.U. Boulder. She met her future husband and was married in Boulder in 1970 to Darwin Stengaard. Colleen and her husband were very successful business owners including Action Yamaha, then Mac Tools. They both enjoyed the outdoors from motorcycling, snowmobiling, camping, hunting, 4 wheeling, and traveling to differ destinations in the states. After the loss of her husband in 2016 she continued to enjoy Mountaineers 4X4 Club actives as well as traveling on other new adventures. She is preceded in dead by her husband Darwin Stengaard; her parents Harold and Helen (Jean) Heimbigner; her brothers: Robert and Harold jr.; her brotherin-laws: Richard and Roger Stengaard: her Niece: Debra Hein. She is survived by three sisters: Marie (Ron) Hein; Janet (Jim) Winkler; Patricia ( Calvin) Wertz; her sister-in-law: Wyvonna Stengaard; Nieces and Nephews: Rob (Cody) Hein; Jeff ( Lisa, Michaela, Micah) Hein; Zachary Wertz; Shiloh Wertz; Scott ( Lisa, Gabriel) Stengaard; Steph Stengaard; Jessica Aguayo. A Celebration of Life will be on December 03, 2022 from 1-4 pm at 221 E County Road 66, Fort Collins, Co. in lieu of flowers the family requests donations for Mountaineers 4X4 Club or the American Cancer Association.
