Obituary of Pamela Ann Wade

Obituary Pamela Ann Wade passed away peacefully in her home on November 15, 2022. Pam was born on April 21, 1947 to Chester and Alice Nelson. She was the baby of the family that included brothers Ray and Bruce (deceased) and living sister, Barb. She grew up in Minneapolis, MN and had a wonderful group of school friends nicknamed the 'Edison 8', graduating in 1965. In 1970 she moved to Denver seeking adventure in the Wild West. She met James Audie Wade at an apartment complex in Denver and they were married June 12, 1971. Jim, Pam and their daughter, Tara, made their home in Fort Collins where Pam was always active in the community. She was a proud stay-at-home mom prior to working at Larimer County and later at Poudre High School. She loved music and theater and volunteered for years at the Lincoln Center. Pam was a warm, loving, and funny person, always with a joke in her heart and a song on the tip of her tongue. Her love of travel and adventure took her around the world; a joy and priority she loved to share with lifelong friends, even in her final months. The number of lives she touched and made better is immeasurable. She was particularly fond of animals, especially the many dogs she loved. Her pride and joy in life were her granddaughters, Alexa and Ingrid, who she cheered on always. Pam will be lovingly remembered by her husband, daughter, granddaughters, sister, brother and sister in law, nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
