Obituary of Roderick Ellis Farrar

Obituary Roderick Ellis Farrar “Roddy”, age 81 passed away on December 6, 2022 in Sun City, AZ surrounded by family. He was born on March 28, 1941 in Fort Collins, CO. He graduated from FCHS in 1959 and pursued many career options such as barber, bus driver and CSU policeman until he found his place as an electrical lineman at the city for 30+ years. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Schott on May 1, 1964 and they were happily married for 50 years. He married his second loving wife, Judy Campbell in September 2019. Rod had the biggest heart ever and an incredibly special smile. Everyone who knew the goodness of him knew he would enrobe you in peace and comfort all the time. He would help anyone he knew with anything they needed at any time. He always made everyone laugh and smile with his infectiously positive personality. He loved spending time and spoiling his one special grandson, Jakeb and was very proud of him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Rod is survived by his wife, Judy Campbell, his son Eric Farrar (wife, Corinna), his grandchildren Kaylee Pruitt (husband, Cory), Mikaela Weaver (fiancé, Trevor), and Jakeb Farrar, his great grandchildren, Korbyn, Brecken, Maddix and Aleyah. He is preceded in death by his first wife Carolyn Farrar, all of his siblings and parents. A celebration of life for both Rod and Carolyn will be held at a later date. They will be laid to rest together forever. Memorial donations can be made to the Garth Englund Blood Center. Services
