To Brad and Family, When I first started to work at the City and had my first day at Wood Street, I noticed Nancy's picture in Brad's office and told him, "I've heard her sing". I had enjoyed her singing group several times before I met Brad. Nancy did a lot to make me feel welcome at Utilities. She sent me lovely crafted items such as the hand painted Halloween candy bucket which was so cheerful and bright. In my opinion, Nancy was one of a kind. She was beautiful both inside and out. She loved all of her family ferociously. She was talented in so many ways including writing an original musical that was performed at her church called "Holy Grounds" where a coffee shop was the scene of many faith filled conversations. I consider it an honor and a privilege to have known Nancy in this life on earth and believe some day, we will all be reunited in faith with each other and our creator in ways we can't imagine now. God bless you all at this time of loss and sorrow.

It was April. The year was 2020. Nancy, with not a second thought, offered me her valuable time, her beautiful song, and her lovely home in support of my efforts to honor the passing of my late husband. My friend, your unsparing heart jumpstarted my spirit at a time when it could use a soft place to land. I imagine there are a whole lot of folks who would avow the same. Memories will help to sustain us, knowing that every moment of your life was a genuine gift to all who had the privilege of loving you.

Dear Brad and family, Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Nancys joy of life was evident to me in all her endeavors her singing, her love of family and her deep faith. You lost her way too soon. Nancy and Christmas will always be linked in my heart. Many years ago, Brad brought some of Nancys crafting handiwork into the Light and Power office. I purchased two of her dough Christmas ornaments- a jolly Santa face (1989) and beautiful blond angel (1990). They have graced my Christmas tree every year since. I treasure them and always will. I truly believe another beautiful blond angel is now with her Heavenly Father.
