Obituary of Velma "Darlene" Freestone

Obituary Velma “Darlene” Freestone 96, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away peacefully January 3, 2023, at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins, Colorado. Darlene was born March 24, 1926, in Fort Collins, the third child of William C. and Elizabeth Deines. She married Robert Kindsfater in 1945. They had 4 children: Robert G Kindsfater, Jr. (Bonnie), Cynthia Robbins (Richard), Douglas Kindsfater (Marla) and Diane Hawn (Dick). In 1964 she married Marion Freestone and to that union they had 2 sons. Scott Freestone (Cheri) and Stacey Freestone (Cathy). She had 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion, her parents and 1 sister and 4 brothers. She will be missed by her 6 children, 1 surviving brother, grand children and many nieces and nephews. Her wishes were not to have a memorial service or celebration of life. Services
